Each
set consists of 6 cards. They feature
high-resolution copies of my original watercolors, my
original photographs, or copies of antique photographs
in my collection. They
are printed on matte photo paper, cut with a decorative
edge, and affixed to each card. A small label with the
artist's information is on the back of the card. The
cards are 4" x 5.5".

Pumpkin Panache *~
Introducing
a trio of perfectly poised pumpkins (say THAT 3 times
fast!), wonderful for sending an Autumn missive to a
friend. Each
card is hand pulled (printed) by me from my own carvings
and each one is technically
considered an original. The block
printing ink leaves a lightly textured matte surface; a
tactile quality that I like to see in handwork. The
cards and envelopes are 5" x 7". Each print will be
titled and signed in pencil under the artwork.

These
are photos I've taken of animals, flowers, landscapes,
historic places, my handmade items, antique and vintage
pieces in my home, etc.
For
those of you who have ordered my watercolor print cards
~~~ the Simple Joys Greeting Card is a different type of
card. While the other cards are great for a little thank
you or thinking of you note, this card is a gift in
itself!
The
5 x 7 cards are richly textured, recycled, heavy
cardstock using environmentally friendly soybean based
inks. The photo is permanently enclosed between two
layers with factory-applied adhesive (one layer has the
precut window) --- the photo is not pasted on the front.
With this process, you get a very professional finished
look ~~~ a beautiful matted photo on the front and blank
on the inside so you have enough space (2 pages) for a
nice letter or poem. The back of the card is blank with
only a small label with my business information. All
photos are a matte finish and are true lab developed
photographs ~~~ not the “at home, printed on computer
photo paper” photos. The black and white photos come
with white cardstock with a black border and a white
envelope. The color and sepia photos are on natural
cardstock with a sepia border and natural envelope. Some
of my photos have an intentional grainy quality to
emphasize the antique or vintage look. The photographs
are signed Lana Manis with black or sepia India ink in
the lower right corner of the photo. They do not
have “Honeysuckle Lane” across the front as in the
photos. Each card and envelope is packaged in a clear
sleeve.
Now,
I mentioned the card is a gift in itself ~~~ since it is
a 5x7 size, it fits perfectly in a frame. I’ve shown a
couple of the cards in new oak frames, but imagine how
they would look in antique or vintage frames! So, give a
card along with a frame and the gift is complete!

(ships to you in a manila envelope) ~~~ oh! I almost
forgot ~ it only takes one first class stamp for you to
mail the card to a friend.
