~*~ Soldered Jewelry & Key Chain Fobs:
In making these glass charms, I used parchment papers that I stained, aged, and water colored. Some have been printed with copies of 18th century indentured servant letters. The heart and hand designs are hand cut by me. Paper punched designs include the crown, fleur de lis and bird. A few of the charms are embellished with small fragments of antique textiles. Most of the pottery shards were found on our property which was built on a 1930s home place. After a rain, I find these pieces of history in our garden. All charms are made with lead-free solder and have been given a carnauba wax finish. Some of the charms and nickel plated ball chains have been treated to give a rustic, tarnished look. Chains can easily be snipped to a shorter length with household utility scissors or wire cutters. Care: Do not immerse in water. If solder or chain oxidizes, buff with a soft cloth or very fine steel wool. Please order by item code (example: J-1). Click on each photo for a larger view. ~*~ Beaded Cabochon Brooches Several years ago I purchased a frame with all of these glass cabochons mounted on velvet inside. I removed the pieces, knowing I would eventually use them some day. Items a. and b. are similar to Victorian mourning pins that I have seen. Items c. through g. feature 18th century ladies and gentlemen. I sewed hundreds of glass beads around these cabochons creating little delicate beaded edges. They have been firmly attached to a micro-suede base and have a locking pin clasp. Ovals are about 2 1/2" tall and round ones are about 2 1/4" across.
When
ordering, please choose by letter {a., b., c. etc.}.
C is SOLD ~ thank you! $45 each Email to purchase or ask a question ( lanamanis (at) gmail.com or honeysucklelane (at) hotmail.com )

~ Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~
Philippians 4:8
